Middle College is a program offered through the Fullerton School District in collaboration with Fullerton College to provide students with the opportunity to explore different college and career pathways while earning college credit. Students in Grades 7 and 8 can participate in the college level courses after school hours. The courses are one and a half to two hours long and can be two or three days a week depending upon the course.
“College graduates, on average, earned 56% more than high school grads in 2015, according to data compiled by the Economic Policy Institute. That was up from 51% in 1999 and is the largest such gap in EPI's figures dating to 1973.”*
Enrollment in the program requires mandatory attendance at a Middle College Parent Night. Parent Nights will be held around October/November for Spring Sessions and in April/May for Fall Sessions. Check Peachjar and this website for updated information.
