* Nicolas Junior High offers mathematics courses of Math 7, Math 8, Algebra or Geometry
Honors / GATE Program English Language Arts, Mathematics, History and Science Placements are based upon Assessment Results, Report Card Grades, and Teacher Recommendation.
Students who are in need of additional supports in Language Arts may be placed in an extra period of Academic Pathways for further support in mastering essential skills.
In addition to required courses, students will be enrolled in two electives courses. Courses vary in rigor and requirements. A list of all electives offered at Nicolas Junior High can be found in the electives course catalog.
