Mental Health Services

We all have times that we feel sad, angry or stressed out. Try some of these coping strategies to get through those tough times: 
* Talk to a trusted friend or adult
* Listen to music
* Physical activities: take a walk, go for a run, try an exercise video or play your favorite sport
* Write down your thoughts & feelings in a journal
* Watch your favorite show
* Play with your pet
* Draw, doodle or do a coloring page (try a coloring app!)
* Take a nap
* Cry
* Read
* Play video games (with appropriate time limits)
* Apps for meditation or mindfulness

It is normal to feel sadness in life, but sometimes those feelings deepen into depression or even thoughts of self-harm. If you need to talk to someone but don't feel comfortable talking to a counselor at school, or need to talk to someone during after-school hours, you can call the following numbers:

National Suicide Prevention Lifeline - free and confidential support for people in distress. You can get help by:
