DEALING WITH STRESS

We all have times that we feel sad, angry or stressed out. Try some of these coping strategies to get through those tough times:

* Talk to a trusted friend or adult
* Listen to music
* Physical activities: take a walk, go for a run, try an exercise video or play your favorite sport
* Write down your thoughts & feelings in a journal
* Watch your favorite show
* Play with your pet
* Draw, doodle or do a coloring page (try a coloring app!)
* Take a nap
* Cry
* Read
* Play video games (with appropriate time limits)
* Apps for meditation or mindfulness

If you need additional support or resources, please contact Mrs. Hsieh, School Counselor, at pat_hsieh@myfsd.org or Mrs. Olivares, Social Services Assistant, at jessica_olivares@myfsd.org
