The Nicolas Dance Team is a year long class & commitment offered at Nicolas for those who auditioned in the previous school year. The team performs in several events throughout the school year including: dance concerts, school assemblies, school dances, Fullerton Rotary Jogathon, Back to School Night, Open House, Fullerton Sunrise Rotary's charity event, FSD fest, Excellenza, several other district events and even in the high school dance concerts. The members of our "cheer team" are the same as the dance team, there are no separate groups or auditions to only be in cheer. However, cheer is only a small component of the dance team and what we do.

 

Those who are on the dance team are required to have great attendance, behavior, and grades throughout the entire school year. Dance Team members are expected to be model citizens of the school and represent Nicolas in a spirited, respectful, kind and friendly manner at all times. The Nicolas Dance team is held during a class period during the school day, however, several after-school and weekend hours are required. PE credit is received for being enrolled in this class.

 

 

Auditions for the 2025- 2026 Dance Team were held in April 2025 to determine this year's team. Although the team has been picked, there is still possible movement into the Dance Team throughout the year for those dancers who show great progress, dedication and growth in their dance class.
